Wise Words
"The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be deied or abridged by the United states or by any State on account of sex. Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation."
-Nineteenth Amendment
- The National Women's Rights Convention did wonders to spread the word of women's suffrage countrywide, this allowed many other equal suffrage events and debates to follow this step. Once this proposal became the Nineteenth Amendment, women were able to vote with the Presidential Election of 1920. Ever since women gained their right to vote the women's history became more recognize in politics. Many women supported World War I and joined other activities with men. Women were able to work outside their homes and serve the military.

Until the votes for women is given, and until their voices are heard. When they approved the women's right to vote they were more involved in society.

- Women stood up for what they believed in they did not accept the special privileges given to them because they believed that they have their rights to be independent and to work for what they believed in.
